Onion mandi prices dropped 9% in 9 days: Govt

Onion mandi prices have fallen 9% in the last nine days, said DoCA Secretary Nidhi Khare. The government has expanded retail intervention to 48 cities, selling onions at ₹35/kg. She also noted cab aggregators were ordered to stop seeking advance tips, calling it an unfair trade practice.
