Bombay High Court has criticised the slum redevelopment buildings in Mumbai, saying that they'll cause health problems and calling them "vertical slums". "Buildings...are so congested. No light, no space, no sunlight and no ventilation...[Slum dwellers] are better off on grounds encroaching," it added. It further said that this was a serious issue against the right to life and personal liberty.
