Sarvam launches AI model for all 22 Indian languages

Indian AI startup Sarvam released Saaras V4, a speech-recognition model covering all 22 of India's scheduled languages plus English. It also partnered with IBM to build a 'sovereign' AI stack for Indian government and regulated sectors, ensuring data stays under Indian control. Sarvam is part of India's national AI mission to build home-grown models.
