IAS officer Ashok Khemka, transferred 57 times in 34 years, to retire

IAS officer Ashok Khemka, known for getting transferred 57 times in his nearly 34-year career, is superannuating on Wednesday. The 1991-batch officer will retire as Additional Chief Secretary, Transport Department, the post he was transferred to in December 2024. Notably, in 2012 he cancelled the mutation of a Gurugram land deal linked to Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi's husband Robert Vadra.
