Sensex tumbles over 800 points, IT sector down by 3.5%
The BSE Sensex index fell by 813 points in intraday trading on Tuesday to the day's low of 82,481.53. This comes as the BSE IT index fell by 1,084 points or 3.5%, with all companies trading in the red at the time of reporting. The Nifty IT index also fell 1,133 points or 3.6% to the day's low of 30,417.75.
