Haryana government's finance department announced on Sunday that all government bank accounts held in IDFC First Bank across the state will be de-empanelled with immediate effect. The move comes after the bank disclosed ₹590-crore fraud involving Haryana government-linked accounts. No state funds are allowed to be deposited, invested or transacted via the private lenders, the government said.
