Why are Pakistan and Afghanistan fighting again?

Pakistan struck 10 locations in Afghanistan on Thursday, saying the latest strikes were in response to attacks launched from Afghan territory. The escalation follows three months of relative calm between the neighbours. Islamabad accuses Kabul of harbouring Islamist militants responsible for cross-border attacks, while Afghanistan denies the allegations and says militancy is Pakistan’s problem.
