Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, in his first sermon in five years, described the country's recent missile attack on Israel as the "minimum punishment" for its "astonishing crimes". The strikes were "correct, logical, and lawful", he added. The last time Khamenei led Friday prayers was in 2020, after the US killed Iran's most senior military commander Qassem Soleimani.
