Tajinderpal Toor loses Asian Games flag-bearer role as ceremonial kit is yet to arrive from India

Shot-putter Tajinderpal Singh Toor won't be India's male flag-bearer at Asian Games 2026 opening ceremony after his ceremonial kit failed to arrive in time. Kabaddi player Pawan Sehrawat will replace him. Toor said the kit would reach Nagoya airport from India at 3 pm on Saturday, adding it'd be impossible for him to reach venue on time after collecting it.
