Intel, 3D Glass Solutions and the Odisha government have signed an MoU to establish a semiconductor materials facility in the state with an estimated investment of $3.3 billion (over ₹31,000 crore). The facility will focus on substrate manufacturing, a critical material used for mounting semiconductors on motherboards. The proposed project will be implemented in phases over five to six years.
