FIFA will allow USA's Folarin Balogun to play against Belgium in the FIFA World Cup 2026 Round of 16 after suspending his red-card ban under Article 27 of its Disciplinary Code. The article allows FIFA's judicial bodies to suspend the implementation of all/part of a disciplinary sanction. The sanctioned player is then placed on probation for one to four years.
