Madras HC dismisses MK Stalin's plea to declare him elected from Kolathur constituency

The Madras High Court dismissed a writ petition filed by DMK chief MK Stalin seeking 100% counting of VVPAT slips of Kolathur Assembly constituency where he lost to TVK's VS Babu in the 2026 elections. Stalin had sought invalidation of Babu's election and a declaration that he be elected from the constituency. The court held that the plea isn't maintainable.
