Price of Paddy (Dhan) Basmati 1509 variety fell to ₹2,700 per quintal in 2 days as exporters aren't coming in with big orders amid Iran-Israel conflict, reported NDTV. About 25% of basmati rice exported from India is sent to Iran. Insurance companies have stopped giving insurance on exports to Iran, said All India Rice Exporters' Association General Secretary Ajay Bhalotia.
