Indian investors have lost ₹46,86,737 crore in the stock market so far this year. The market index Sensex has fallen by over 10,600 points in the same period. This comes as the war in the Middle East pushes oil prices to around $100 (₹9,243) per barrel. Meanwhile, the rupee has hit a new all-time low of 92.4 against US dollar.
