India is among six countries on the priority watch list in a special report released by the US Trade Representative that deals with adequacy and effectiveness of trading partners' protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights. US has cited problems in the patent system, including delays. The other countries in the list include China, Russia, Chile, Indonesia and Venezuela.
