Meta ran ads for app that created explicit images of female politicians: Report

Meta ran ads for an AI app generating sexualised deepfakes of women, including a prominent US politician, WIRED reported. Targeted exclusively at male users, the Kromix ads ran 32 times, with individual ads remaining active for five to 46 hours, despite Meta's ad policies prohibiting sexual content. The ads carried the tagline "Unleash next-gen AI magic".
