Chandrasekaran issues 1st statement on abrupt exit from one of India's largest conglomerates

N Chandrasekaran issued his first statement after abruptly announcing that he's resigning as Chairman of Tata Sons, which helms one of India's largest conglomerates. He'll continue to serve in his current capacity until his term ends in February 2027, he announced. He said he has asked the Board to decide on his succession soon, as "clarity on leadership is important".
