TT Jagannathan, the Chairman Emeritus of TTK Prestige Group, has been posthumously awarded the Padma Shri. He was popularly known as "Kitchen Mogul" for his innovative work in creating safe and efficient kitchen products. A gold medallist from IIT Madras with a PhD from Cornell University, he spent 50 years on TTK Prestige's board and helped turn the group debt-free.
