Sensex ends 307 points lower, Nifty at 24,080

Indian benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty ended lower on Monday, dragged by losses in metal and IT stocks. The Sensex declined 307.24 points, or 0.40%, to 76,957, while the Nifty 50 dropped 95.25 points to 24,080. Sun Pharma and ICICI Bank were among the top BSE gainers, while Adani Ports and ITC led the losses.
