Former England captain Michael Vaughan termed the fourth Ashes 2025-26 Test at the MCG, which England won by four wickets, a "lottery". Referring to the fifth Test at the SCG, he said England captain Ben Stokes and head coach Brendon McCullum need "a good week". Vaughan added, "If they get pummelled in Sydney, there needs to be some honest conversations."
