Volkswagen CEO Oliver Blume is planning to cut up to 1 lakh jobs, reported Manager Magazin. If implemented, this would become the biggest overhaul in the company's 89-year history. In the previous fiscal, ​Volkswagen's global workforce was 6.67 lakh. Blume is also planning to close its three production facilities as well as a plant of sister brand Audi in Germany.
