Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) on Saturday announced support for Women's Reservation and Delimitation Bills. This comes after SAD chief Sukhbir Singh Badal met PM Narendra Modi in New Delhi, fuelling speculation about revival of BJP-SAD alliance ahead of Punjab polls. SAD has reportedly advocated a uniform 50% seat increase across states, while demanding fair representation for all regional interests.
