Scientists create wearable device that can convert sweat into electricity

Japanese scientists have developed a wearable biofuel cell array that generates electricity from lactate in human sweat. The device looks like a paper bandage that can be worn on the arm or forearm. It uses a water-repellent paper substrate with multiple biofuel cells arranged in series and parallel, with the number of cells depending on the required voltage and power.
