Supreme Court directed CBI to initiate a probe into public works contracts linked to Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu’s family. The court order followed a PIL alleging that major development contracts in Tawang district were awarded to firms linked to CM or his relatives. It is alleged these firms were enriched by thousands of crores through the award of contracts.
