Postmortem report of 27-year-old engineer Yuvraj Mehta, who drowned in a Noida ditch, revealed that water entered his lungs. There was about 200 ml of fluid in his lungs, and the cause of death is "asphyxia due to antemortem drowning, followed by cardiac arrest". Mehta kept screaming for help for around two hours while standing atop his partially submerged car.
