Apple announced Apple Intelligence (AI)-powered virtual assistant, Siri AI, at WWDC 2026. Apple said that while Siri AI will be available for free with the latest OS releases, it will not be available in the EU on iOS and iPadOS "until it can find a path forward for regulatory approval". Siri AI will also not be available in China.
