Ahead of New Year's Eve and New Year celebrations, Bengaluru Police has told hotels, pubs, commercial places and event organisers to avoid overcrowding and ensure all celebrations end by 1 am. City Police Commissioner Seemanth Singh said music or slogans used during celebrations shouldn't hurt religious or social sentiments. He added using firecrackers inside commercial establishments is banned.
