Nagpur hotel's food licence cancelled after cockroach found in soup

The Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has cancelled the licence of Hotel Ashoka in Nagpur's Sadar area after a customer complained of finding a cockroach in a bowl of soup. A surprise FDA inspection found several hygiene and sanitation lapses. The hotel can resume operations only after rectifying the deficiencies and complying with food safety norms.
