HC pulls up ex-judge for hiding income, orders him to pay double maintenance to wife

Allahabad High Court upheld a family court order revising a retired judge's monthly maintenance to his ex-wife from ₹9,000 to ₹18,000. It said he had concealed information about his ₹88,000 monthly pension and noted that he wasn't simple litigant but retired judicial officer. The court also invalidated divorce, noting that it was granted by Civil Judge instead of District Judge.
