DeepSeek set to raise at least $12 billion in funding: Report

DeepSeek is close to raising at least $11.93 billion in its latest funding round, Bloomberg reported, with CATL and Tencent among the biggest investors. Demand exceeded expectations following the launch of its latest AI model. DeepSeek released the V4.1-Flash model last month, saying it offers greater capability, faster inference, higher throughput and better scaling.
