Haryana seizes Rs 84L adulterated food ahead of Diwali

Haryana's FDA intensified pre-Diwali food inspections, increasing sampling by 82.55% — 2,375 samples collected between Sept 1–Nov 5 vs 1,301 last year. Of 861 analysed, 170 failed standards. Seizures worth Rs 83.96 lakh were made, including ghee and dairy products. Around 50,000 kg of adulterated sweets and paneer were destroyed.
