At least two people were killed after a powerful 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck off Indonesia early Saturday, which triggered an early tsunami warning. The quake occurred at a depth of 15 km and was followed by at least three aftershocks. Indonesia’s geophysics agency, BMKG, initially issued an early tsunami warning for some regions of the country following the undersea earthquake.

Pakistan plans to land 'Jinnah' on Moon in 2029

Over 20 years after India's Chandrayaan was launched, Pakistan is planning to land its first lunar rover, Jinnah-1, on the Moon in 2029 with China's support. Jinnah will travel aboard China's Chang'e-8 mission to the lunar south pole, where it'll study the lunar surface's geology. India is the only country to have successfully reached the lunar south pole.
