English footballer Ethan McLeod, who represented Macclesfield FC, has died in a car accident on a motorway, the club said. The 21-year-old forward was returning from a National League North away match against Bedford Town on Tuesday night when the accident occurred. His white Mercedes reportedly collided with the nearside metal barrier of the motorway at around 10:40 pm.
