India and China have agreed to resume Kailash Mansarovar Yatra in the summer of this year, after it was suspended in 2020 amid the COVID-19 pandemic, as per the MEA. The decision was taken during Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri's visit to Beijing. MEA stated that the two nations also agreed in principle to resume direct air services.
