Ankush Panghal, who won a silver in men's 80 kg boxing at Commonwealth Games (CWG) 2026, is the son of former state-level kabaddi player Manoj Kumar. The 20-year-old began boxing at 11 under coach Pradeep Sawant in Hisar. He won a national school title at 14, earned a Khelo India stipend, and later secured medals at junior and senior championships.
