A Jammu court on Friday denied bail to Kamal Singh Jamwal, accused of attempting to kill former J&K CM and National Conference chief Farooq Abdullah at a wedding in March. Calling it "an assault on public order and democratic stability," the court said the accused allegedly tried to shoot Abdullah at point-blank range, but he escaped unhurt.
