Crypto wallet provider SafePal data breach affects nearly 40,000 users

Cryptocurrency wallet provider SafePal disclosed a data breach affecting 39,798 customers, exposing names, addresses and purchase details. An authorisation flaw in its order tracking system allowed unauthorised access to other customers' information between March 2, 2025, and April 11, 2026. SafePal said sensitive wallet and payment data remained secure, while over 30 phishing sites were removed.
