West Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari said 26-year-old Indrajit Mondal who was killed over false accusations of rape and murder of a minor girl was not lynched but "murdered". "There's certainly instigation by politically rejected people. Communal radical forces may also be involved," he added. He gave ₹25 lakh to Indrajit's parents and a civic volunteer appointment letter to his brother.
