India's Vithya breaks 42-yr-old national record, wins 2nd consecutive Asian Games bronze

Indian athlete Vithya Ramraj won her second consecutive Asian Games bronze after finishing third in the women's 400m hurdles final on Monday. The 28-year-old also broke the national record after clocking 54.75s, surpassing the 55.42s mark set by veteran athlete PT Usha in 1984, which she had equalled in 2023. Meanwhile, India's Anu Raghavan finished fifth in the final.
