West Bengal registers record turnout of 92.47% in two-phase polls
After voting in the last phase of the West Bengal Assembly polls concluded, the Election Commission on Wednesday said the state registered a record 92.47% voter turnout in the two-phase Assembly elections. It added that voter turnout in Phase-II stood at 91.66%, while Phase-I recorded 93.19%. Counting of votes will be held on May 4.
