Married couples should prefer individual Wills even though they might want to give their property to the same heir, Moneycontrol reported. Separate Wills can provide clarity and allow individuals to deal with their own assets, as both may have personal property, by investment or inheritance, the report added. Individual Wills are easier to alter without changing the other person's Will.
