External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met US Ambassador Sergio Gor, a close aide of President Trump, ahead of his trip to Washington. The US ambassador said they had "highly substantive discussion that covered everything from defence, trade, critical minerals, and are working towards our common interests". Jaishankar will attend the inaugural ministerial meeting on critical mineral supply chains.
