A fake post has been circulating on social media seeking people's personal details claiming that the Ministry of Finance is offering a benefit of ₹32,849 as an aid to the poor class. The Press Information Bureau clarified that no such benefit has been announced by government. The post, which used Finance Ministry's logo, asked people to register to avail benefit.
