Tata Group loses ₹40,000 cr in market value after Trusts rejects Tata Sons listing
Tata Group firms' stocks lost over ₹40,000 crore in market value on Friday after Tata Trusts opposed Tata Sons' listing plans and the five-year reappointment of N Chandrasekaran as Executive Chairman. TCS recorded the highest decline at about ₹30,754 crore, while Tata Chemicals posted the sharpest percentage fall at 11.14%, CNBC TV18 reported. Tata Trusts owns 66% of Tata Sons.
