At least eight sorties of Chinese military aircraft and seven naval vessels were seen operating around Taiwan on Saturday, the island's Ministry of National Defence (MND) said. "ROC Armed Forces have monitored the situation and employed CAP aircraft, Navy ships and coastal missiles in response to detected activities," MND added. Earlier, two sorties of Chinese aircraft were detected on Friday.
