The Maharashtra government has announced a speed limit for the Mumbai-Nagpur Samruddhi Expressway. Vehicles can run at a speed of 100 to 120 km/hr. However, entry of two-wheelers, rickshaws and four-wheeler rickshaws has been barred on the expressway. The government also announced that the goods carrier vehicles can only run at a maximum speed of 80 km/hr.
