In a U-turn, US body USCIRF says 'open for dialogue' with RSS chief Bhagwat

Days after expressing concern over RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s visit to US and calling for his visa revocation, head of US religious freedom panel (USCIRF) Asif Mahmood said he was open to dialogue with Bhagwat. "There might be some guarantees they can give us...and we can change our mind," he added. The panel called for sanctions against RSS last week.
