Georgia officer who shot donkey 'HeeHaw' won't face criminal charges

Georgia DA Jaeson Smith ruled that Cedartown Officer Trenton Garner will face no criminal charges for fatally shooting baby donkey 'HeeHaw' in August. Smith said Garner reasonably acted to protect another officer. Separately, HeeHaw's owner Hannah Israel has filed a civil lawsuit accusing officers of entering her property without a warrant and shooting HeeHaw without provocation.
