Gurugram Municipal Commissioner Pradeep Dahiya said rainwater accumulated at around 35-40 locations. "The reason water tends to stagnate is that 'Leg 1' and 'Leg 2' often operate at full capacity, sometimes even overflowing, preventing them from effectively draining the surrounding areas," he said. Increasing drain capacity and storing water through rainwater harvesting are solutions he suggested.
