OpenAI buys ex-Apple engineers' camera startup for ₹2,800 crore: Report

OpenAI has acquired AI camera technology startup Glass Imaging for over $300 million (around ₹2,800 crore), The Wall Street Journal reported. Glass Imaging was founded by Ziv Attar and Tom Bishop, former Apple engineers who helped develop the iPhone's Portrait Mode. The acquisition comes as OpenAI steps up efforts to develop consumer hardware.
